Kansas 4-H is celebrating the 75th year of 4-H Camp at Rock Springs Ranch this year! Did you know that more than 75 years ago, in 1945, the land that is now part of Rock Springs Ranch was purchased to become the new home for Kansas 4-H camp, all because of 4-H youth like us? Youth raised the funds to pay off the mortgage before the first camping season even began!

Kansas 4-H Youth Leadership Council members were inspired by what these Kansas 4-H members did 75 years ago and have an idea for making sure camp is extra special for the next 75 years. We are introducing a new Leadership Adventure Course for Rock Springs Ranch! The Leadership Adventure Course is a team obstacle course with high ropes, low elements and a dueling zip line.

Your club’s philanthropic gift made between now and May 1st will ensure the Leadership Adventure Course is complete for the next time you come to camp and for the next 75 years of campers!

Together, our goal as clubs is to raise $25,000. For every $5,000 that we raise, generous donors who believe in us will match every gift dollar for dollar, up to $25,000! That means our total would double and become $50,000!

If all clubs participate at any level of giving, another generous donor will provide an additional $25,000!

These Kansas 4-H members were selected as the 2020 National 4-H Conference Delegates for Kansas. Unfortunately with the COVID-19 health concerns, the conference was canceled. Determined to not let the year stop them from making an impact, these six leaders joined together and created the Endorse the Course challenge. Join them and Endorse the Course today!
